Across the nation and in the State of Arkansas the number of positive Covid-19, also known as Coronavirus, cases are increasing. Due to this increase, all hospitals are looking at additional ways to prevent the spread. Fulton County Hospital is adding another level of security for our patients, visitors, staff and community. We have implemented a check in station at the entrance to our facility where you will be greeted by a Fulton County Hospital Team Member. This Team Member will take your temperature and ask a series of questions. Once this short process is completed, you will be allowed to continue into the facility. We appreciate your continued support and teamwork to protect the people of our County.
March 11, 2020 Governor Asa Hutchinson, through Proclamation, declared an emergency, and ordered the Arkansas Department of Health to take action to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Fulton County Hospital would like to ask for the Community's help in preventing the spread of Covid-19 by staying home when sick, wash hands with soap frequently, avoid people who are sick, avoid large gatherings, and practice social distancing. If you have travel plans, check the CDC travel website prior to travel. We are thankful for the community support to help us stop the spread of this illness. We are working diligently to provide the best possible standard of care to our patients during this uncertain time.
